Dorothy J. “Dotty” Eastman, 95, of Eureka passed away on Saturday. January 3, 2026 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.

She was born on July 16, 1930 in Eureka to Leland and Dorothy Brubaker Parsons. She married Donald W. “Bill” Eastman on December 19, 1950. He passed away on October 1, 2017.

Survivors include her children, Rick (Cindy) Eastman of Castro Valley, CA; Julie (Dean) Rieke of Secor; Lori Martin of Goodfield; Dave (Diane) Eastman of Eureka; Douglas (Shari) Eastman of Goodfield; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leland Gene Parsons, Wendy Parsons.

Dorothy was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan.

She was a charter member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Eureka where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026. Pastor Michael Stipp will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and also from 10-11 a.m. at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is handling arrangements for the family.
