Frances E. Graves, 89, of Sullivan, IN passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Envive Senior Living in Sullivan, IN.          

She was born in Sullivan, IN. October 7, 1936, the daughter of John Wilson and Dorothy Denny Wilson.

            Frances started out as a seamstress at Gossard’s later working as a Custodian at the First Presbyterian Church in Sullivan, IN. Upon retirement she enjoyed spending her time with grandchildren, great grandchildren and quilting. She was a long-time member of the Sullivan First Baptist Church, and enjoyed many years on the Hospitality Committee.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Graves on March 21, 2013, two brothers; Harold “Bud” Wilson, and Larry Wilson, also a sister, Rosemary Guenther.

            Survivors include two daughters, Diane Graves (Faith Ferrell) of Topeka, KS, Denise Bement of Sullivan, IN and a son, Darrin Graves of Terre Haute, IN, three grandchildren: Bryce Bement (Ashley), Delaney Graves and Drew Graves, also three great grandchildren; Makenna Bement, Karson Bement, and Kameron Bement, a special nephew, Jerry Wilson and family, several other nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Wednesday, January 7, 2026, with Rev. Ron Riggs officiating.at Brust Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Brust Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery.

            In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sullivan Co. Salvation Army Coats for Kids, or Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation.
