Age 78 of Horseheads, NY. She was born January 29, 1947 in Endicott, NY, daughter of the late William and Charlotte (Rhodes) Schierloh and passed away
Saturday, January 3, 2026 at home. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert M. Comstock; son and daughter-in-law Robert E. and Tammy L. Comstock; daughter and son-in-law Colleen and Jim Pollen all of Horseheads; grandchildren Kyle (Tesla) Pollen, Darren (Moriah) Pollen, Tia Comstock and Brandon (Kaitlyn) Comstock; great grandchildren Julia & Micah Pollen and Ezekiel Comstock; brother and sister-in-law William and Nancy Schierloh of Horseheads along with many nieces and nephews. Nancy retired from Hardinge, Inc. with over 30 years of service. She was an active member of Community Wesleyan Church in Horseheads and volunteered with the Horseheads Food Pantry and the Arctic League. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, January 8th from 11 am to 1 pm. Her funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Rev. Art Evens will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
