Donald Edward (Eddie) Worley, 65, of Sweetwater, passed away 8:05 P.M. Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Wood Village. He was a faithful and loving husband, son and brother. He retired from the Monroe County Highway Department where he worked as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Shaffer Worley; father, Vernon Paul Worley and siblings, Pauline Shaffer, Debbie Holt, Roy Worley and Vernon Paul (Junior) Worley. Survivors include his devoted mother, Jearlean Carter Harris; sisters, Deloris McAnulty and Lisa Sullivan; special nephew, Kyler Keller, who was like a son to Eddie; several other nieces and nephews; uncles, Richard Jenkins and David Worley.

Funeral 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Steve Teague officiating. Interment 11: 00 a.m. Thursday, Big Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Wednesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
