Elizabeth A. “Betty” Kozlowski, 89, passed away January 3, 2026.

Betty was born in New York and a lifelong resident of Bridgewater since 1965. After graduating from Bound Brook High School in 1954, she received her Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration at Raritan Valley Community College. Betty first worked for Bell Telephone Laboratory in Murray Hill and then was employed by the Karl K. Goldsmith Company in the insurance industry. Betty then became the owner and independent broker of insurance, pension products and securities for Administrative Services Company in Somerville for over 20 years. She was a member of the Somerville Rotary Club. Betty dedicated her life to her family. She was a fabulous cook and loved spending time at the beach with family members. In her free time, she enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and reading.

She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Kozlowski who died in 2003 and brothers Robert and Thomas Kumbatovic.

Surviving are her daughters Linda Tamburri, Sheryl Kozlowski, Janice Miller and husband James, a sister Helen Fette, sister-in-law Alice Pasarela and her husband Richard and three nieces.

Prayers will be 9am Wednesday at Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave. Somerville followed by a 10am mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in Bridgewater. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.

Visitation will be 4-6pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
