It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John H Robson IV, who departed
this life on December 22, 2025, in Virginia. Born on September 3, 1949, in Ridgecrest,
California, John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
John is survived by his devoted wife, Christine Robson; his cherished children, Katrina Robson
and Matthew Robson; the children-in-law who he embraced as his own, Kelsi Robson and Doug
Barnes; and his adored grandchildren, Alex Robson, Cori Robson, Robert Barnes, and Ella
Barnes.
John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Fullerton State University,
which laid the foundation for a remarkable career as the CEO of Technical Arts Incorporated.
Under his leadership, the company grew from a two-person operation into a thriving
manufacturing powerhouse. John proudly served our country for eight years before being
honorably discharged, embodying a spirit of dedication and commitment.
An avid traveler, John found joy in exploring the United States with friends in his RV, relishing
the beauty of new landscapes and the thrill of fishing along the way. He was also passionate
about boating, a hobby that brought him immense joy throughout his life.
John was a faithful and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He lived by his mottos,
"Do the next right thing" and "Have a little fun in everything you do," which inspired those
around him. His warmth, wisdom, and laughter will be profoundly missed by all who had the
privilege of knowing and loving him.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 2 PM at Holy Trinity Church, 850 Balls
Hill Road, McLean, VA, 22101.
John leaves a legacy of honor, love and kindness that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
