Mark Allen Rosenberry

Born in Manhattan, New York, Mark Allen Rosenberry, passed away peacefully Wednesday November 12, 2025 at the age of 53. He was the beloved son of Terrone and Carolyn (Road) Rosenburry and grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where he spent his formative years. In high school Mark was active in the marching band and he earned his Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts at the age of 14.

Mark earned his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University and went on to complete his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Michigan. He then conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. For over two decades, Mark was a tenured professor of Physics at Siena University, where he inspired countless students in the field of applied physical sciences.

Beyond academia, Mark was passionate about role-playing games, especially Dungeons & Dragons, and actively participated in a weekly game every Friday night. He was also an avid reader and enjoyed watching professional football on Sundays.

Mark shared his life with his beloved wife, Andrea Morissette, whom he married in his early twenties. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Miles, Astro, and Heather.

He is also survived by his sister, Micolle Davis, as well as two nieces and a nephew.

Mark’s legacy of knowledge, kindness, and passion will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held Monday December 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at Patricia Gioia Hall at Siena University.
