Theresa Anne Cason passed away at Asante Medical Center on November 12th, 2025 with family by her side, joining her husband, Bobby Sr.

She was born in Bainbridge, Maryland on September 12th, 1956. She would mostly call Poynette, WI and Virginia Beach, VA home and talk about how much she missed white Christmases in California.

Terri grew up as a "Navy Brat" and called many places home throughout her childhood. It was in Virginia Beach where she would meet Bobby Sr and later marry. Terri had two children, Bobby Jr and Michele, after moving to Santa Maria, California. After some bouncing around different states for some time, it was Siskiyou County they would settle down in. Terri was very proud of her children, and grandchild (Alyssa). Whenever she had time to spare, she was always making herself available to anyone and everyone who needed them. She would often "adopt" others as her own and share in their happiness, sadness, and everything in between. Terri worked hard throughout her life, but often would reminisce about her time in Santa Maria, especially while working at Jocko's. Spending most of her work life in the service industry, anytime someone would be greeted by her, it was always with a big smile and a slight southern twang. Though family and friends back east would often comment about her lack of accent after moving to California, many would comment about her "y’all's".

Terri's fondness of animals could be seen any time one was around: whether it was a deer curiously approaching her, or one of the many dogs that surrounded her - animals loved Terri. She passed that love on to her grandchild, as they both would talk about which to get next. After Bobby Sr passed, she felt she had lost the love of her life and focused on those around her even more. When someone was having a bad day, she would not hesitate to reach out and comfort them.

Terri is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Cason Sr, her parents, John Dickerson and Donna Palmer Dickerson, and her brother Michael Thomas Dickerson. She is survived by children, Bobby Cason Jr and Michele Cason; her siblings, Timothy Dickerson, Patrick Dickerson and Tracey Conley; and her granddaughter, Alyssa Cason.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 7th, 2025 at Girdner Funeral Chapel in Yreka, California at 3pm.
