Mabel Rayleen Bohanan, 62, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1963, in Denison, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Johnny C. House and Linda Lenard, both of Denison.


Rayleen married the love of her life, Dana, on December 9, 2002, in DeQueen, Arkansas. Together they built a life rooted in love, family, and deep loyalty. Rayleen was known for her generous spirit—she was the type of woman who would give her last dollar or the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Her kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family made her unforgettable to all who knew her.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Lenard; her father, Johnny C. House; her brother, Johnny C. House, II; her sister, Kenda D. Cox; her husband, Dana; and her son, Marshall Wade.


Rayleen is survived by her son, Casey Holmes; her grandson, William McBee; her sister, Joanie Baker and husband Ron; and her brother, joseph Shires and wife Cody; and daughter-in-law, Melanie Stankovich. She also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will forever cherish her memory.


Rayleen’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved so deeply. She will be remembered for her generosity and the boundless love she carried for her family.


A celebration of life services will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to honor Raylee’s memory. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
