Mike Haughney Obituary

Michael Patrick Haughney, 72 of Lebanon Tennessee passed away suddenly on November 12, 2025.


Born in Hershey PA, Mike graduated from Perry High School in Perry Georgia. He went on to attend the University of Georgia where his lifelong love of music continued to grow. A true guitar enthusiast, Mike collected many different guitars over the years. His mechanical skill and curiosity led him to spend countless hours working on electric guitars and amplifiers-one of his favorite hobbies.


After relocating to Lebanon Tennessee, Mike was employed by Southern Stone where he took great provide in his work. He spoke often of how much he valued his coworkers and the friendships he formed with them.


Mike is survived by his brother, John Haughney and his sister Patricia Haughney Santangelo and husband (Ross), two nephews Brett and Grant Santangelo and niece Emma Santangelo; grandnephew Beau and grandniece Isabella. Mike was particularly close to his cousin and best friend Jeff Bastardi and wife Cindy. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Vincent Haughney and mother Norma Jean (Cagnoli) Haughney.


A private celebration of Mike's life will be held by his family.
