It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Léo Joseph Parent, who left us peacefully on November 12, 2025, just days shy of his 77th birthday. Born in McGregor, Ontario, Léo built a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and the simple joys that made every day meaningful.

For over 40 years, Léo was a proud and skilled tool and die maker, respected by those who worked alongside him for his craftsmanship, precision, and dedication. Beyond his trade, Léo was a man who found beauty in life’s quiet moments- a round of golf under the summer sun, a country drive with good music and an open road, or an afternoon spent relaxing with a fine cigar and a peaceful view.

Above all, Léo’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted father, a proud “Pépé,” and a loving brother whose warmth left lasting memories in every heart he touched.

Léo is predeceased by his beloved parents, Lucien and Alvina Parent, his siblings Clément (Marie), Pierre (Carol), Caline, and his brother-in-law Larry.

He is survived by his siblings Thérèse and François (Yvette), and by his former wife, Elizabeth Parent (Deschamps).

Léo was the proud father of Robert (Nicole), Tina, Todd (Marnie), and Stephanie (Brandon), and the cherished Pépé of Ava, Mya, Lea, Ema, Wesley, Levi, Caidyn, Kai, Avery, Hailey, and Ramsey. His love for his family will continue to live on through them.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026, when family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and love in remembrance of a remarkable man who will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
