William Iversen Jr. “Willy” is our son (William Iversen Sr. & Joy Iversen) and youngest brother of Austin & Grant. William was born on May 10, 2001. He attended Troy Public Schools and attended college. He earned his CDL Class A license and was a certified home inspector.
He loved his many hobbies: fishing being the one he “practiced” the most. From an early age, he grew, cloned and grafted plants of various types. Just this past summer he researched some of his favorite fruit bushes/trees and planted them in our yard. He was always talking about starting a farm with a few acres.
In 2021-2023, Willy moved to his own home where he renovated it, learning along the way, not wanting anyone to assist. He learned plumbing, electrical, flooring and many other skills like budgeting and having to go to work to pay the bills.
Although he had struggles, back pain due to a sports injury and difficulty sleeping, his humor would still come through at times.
We will always regret the things we did not do or say. He will always be in our hearts until we are reunited with him and our Lord and Savior.
A Memorial Service for Willy will be held 12:30pm, Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, 37635 Dequindre, Troy, Michigan. A memorial lunch will follow from 1:30pm to 5:30pm at the American Polish Culture Center, 2975 E. Maple Rd., Troy, Michigan.
