Harold Edward Stroh Obituary


Ed was born in Snohomish, Washington to Harold and Charlotte Stroh. He graduated from Snohomish High School lettering in basketball and track. After graduation, he attended Everett Community College receiving certification as a diesel mechanic. Ed started an apprenticeship at Associated Sand & Gravel but was soon lured away to the Alaskan pipeline.

Ed moved to Ellensburg, Washington in 1977. He was known to many for his huge heart, love of telling stories and a good joke. A love for the outdoors, gardening and scouring the countryside for car parts were a few of his favorite hobbies, which also included going to the Bonneville Salt Flats every year.

He is survived by sister Julee (John) Raymond, son James (Jackie) Stroh, granddaughter Skylar Stroh and step grandchild Zac McNealy, daughter Erin O’Brien, grandchildren Adriana and Tristan O’Brien, niece Kelly Raymond and nephew Daniel Raymond. Extended family of Connie Thompson, Angela Clemons, Rhianna and Adrian Quesinberry.

Private services will be held 11/29/2025 at Ed’s residence.
