Theodore Mitchell aka "Fred" to most passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2025 at age 63.
He was born November 7th 1962 to Allen and Ellen Mitchell in Mansfield, Ohio. His biggest hero was his dad whom he learned everything from building houses to restoring classic cars and everything in between. He married the love of his life Amy Jo Seaman on January 12, 1984, they had one daughter. Amy passed away after a long battle with cancer, through it all he never left her side
He was an avid music lover, he loved playing guitar and even taught himself how to play the banjo. He also loved fishing and classic cars and taking walks around the pond every night with his best doggie friend, Maggie May and his mom Ellen and her little dog, Peanut. He also loved "shooting the breeze" with anyone who stopped at the shop over coffee sharing stories or just talking about their day.
He was so caring and would help anyone no matter what they needed, he was a genuinely rare soul with a heart of gold. To know my dad was to know an amazing person... there is definitely a big hole in the world where his presence was. There aren't words to relay the loss that is felt for his family and the valley he lived in.
He is survived by his mom, Ellen Mitchell of Butler; his daughter, Rachel Mitchell of Loudonville; his two grandsons, Alexander and Tyr, their dad Josh Doggett; his sister, Autumn (Bob) Wynkoop of Butler; nephew Corbin Wynkoop; his brother, Ralph Mitchell of Butler and his best dog, Maggie May and parrot, Geisha Bird.
He was preceded in death by his wife Amy, his dad Allen and his brother J.R. Mitchell.
In lieu of a funeral there will be a Celebration of Life on November 23rd 2025 1pm to 4 pm at Black Fork Bistro 153 West Main Street, Loudonville, Ohio 44842
Please rsvp to his daughter at 419 571 0817
