Antoinette “Ann & Toni” Hodgman, 97, a longtime and cherished resident of Libertyville, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. Ann was born in Sioux City, Iowa to her loving parents, Vito and Maria Intranuovo and was raised in Highland Park/Deerfield. Ann's life was one of dedication. She began her career at the Illinois Bell Telephone Company in Highland Park and the United States of America Railroad Retirement Board in Chicago before devoting herself to raising her son Edward. Later, she enjoyed a long and successful second career as a sales representative for Lord & Taylor in Northbrook, where she worked for over 30 years. Ann’s faith was a cornerstone of her life, and longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her beloved son, Edward (Marie) Hodgman III, and her dear sister, Vita (Jim) Habjan. She is now reunited with her husband, Edward Jr., who preceded her in death.
Family and friends are invited to honor her life at a visitation from 12:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday Nov 30th at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday Dec. 1st at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave., Libertyville with entombment to follow at Ascension Cemetery.
