Jazmond S. Slaughter, born on June 26, 1991, in Freehold Township, New Jersey, Sabrina Slaughter and Simon Press Sr, departed this life on November 12, 2025, in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Jazmond’s life was marked by deep love for his family, an infectious grin, and a heart to serve those he loved.

Jazmond leaves behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories.

He is preceded in death by his brother Simon Press Jr., his paternal grandmother Grace Wise, his aunt Stacy Slaughter, uncle James Slaughter III, and his uncle David Wise.

He is survived by his mother, Sabrina Slaughter; father, Simon Press Sr. (Solomon Wise), both maternal grandparents, Annie Billingsley and James Slaughter II, his beloved children, Jah'King Slaughter, Sai'Niya Slaughter, and De'Zyer Barnes, siblings, Alan Slaughter, Joshua Slaughter, Tajana Gladden, and ShaKeema Nevius , a brother-in-law Michael Nevius, and Shakerra Press. He also leaves his devoted fiancée, Ciretta; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends

A celebration of Jazmond’s life will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Abundant Life Church of God in Freehold, NJ.

The viewing will be from 9 to 11 am followed by service at 11 am Burial will be held at Maplewood Cemetery after the memorial service concludes.
