Mr. Leon Thomas, Jr., 72, of Tuskegee, AL passed on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at his residence. A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Green Acres Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia. Rev. Manuel Whitfield will be officiating, according to Charles E. Huff's International Funeral Home, Inc. Viewing will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home located at 927 5th Avenue, Columbus, Georgia.

Mr. Leon Thomas was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late Leon Thomas, Sr. and Mattie B. Williams Johnson. He was educated in the Muscogee County School District and later found his calling working with his hands. Mr. Thomas enjoyed a satisfying career as a fence installer, taking pride in doing quality work and helping families and businesses feel secure. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheronda Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his many memories, a loving and devoted wife, Linda Gale Brown, Tuskegee, AL; two daughters, Lateachia Gary (Anthony) and Tawana McKelvey; four brothers, Bennell Thomas, Eugene Thomas, Leroy Thomas, and Bobby Thomas (Talmara), all of Columbus; three sisters, Benita Gary, Beatrice Slater, and Paula Robinson (Rodney); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
