Raymond Lee Crittenden Obituary

Raymond Lee Crittenden, 74, of Garland, TX, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Paul Tittle officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.


Raymond was a veteran of the US Navy, serving as a Petty Officer First Class during Desert Shield. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and the owner of a computer business. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe Crittenden and Dorothy Mae Reid; the wife and mother of his daughter, Frankie Crittenden; and brother, Billy Joe Crittenden.


He is survived by his wife, Merilyn Jeannine Crittenden; children, Melonie Irons (Charles) and Tsetsy Simone Gray; sister, Karen Suzanne Tittle (Paul); grandchildren, Michael (Hali), Courtney, Jon (Kimbley), Kiara, and John; five great-grandchildren; and nephew, Michael.
