Bobbie Jean Morgan, born February 20, 1944, in Bethel, Texas, to Robert James Morgan and Clarice Evelyn (Calhoun) Morgan, went to her heavenly home on November 5, 2025. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Leneata Hall Morgan.

Bobbie is survived by her three children: Chris Hood, Donald Hood, and Kathy Roznovsky; her siblings Peggy Kennard (and husband Ron), Jan Delaney (and husband Mike), and Jimmy Morgan (and wife Lillie); nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was a devoted mother who loved her family and extended family deeply. She was best known for her extraordinary love for animals and wildlife. With a natural gift for connecting with and caring for animals, she devoted much of her life to rescuing and rehabilitating those in need—whether pets or native wildlife. She spent many years in the medical field taking care of the sick and elderly. Her compassion, generosity, and gentle spirit touched countless lives, both human and animal alike.

She will be remembered with great love and forever missed by all who knew her.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
