John Walter (Jack) Marshall

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jack Marshall announce his passing on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late John and Edna (Teed) Marshall.
In his younger years, Jack worked for Kelly’s Taxi and Ambulance Service in Amherst. In the early 60’s he moved to Ontario where he worked for Toy Crafts and was a superintendent for an apartment building. He later retired from Burns Security in Dwight, Ontario.
Jack enjoyed music and attended several bluegrass, country and gospel events in Lakeville, NB.
Jack is survived by his four children; Kathy (Donald) Allen of Bayfield, Carl of Brampton, ON, Velvet Marshall (Rod Chapman) of Murray Corner and Candy Marshall of Murray Corner; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, two nieces and two great-nephews. Jack is also survived by his sister, Sharon Brown of Sackville.
Besides his parents, Jack is predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Male) Marshall; one brother, Everett and his niece, Cherry Lynn.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville NB (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Burial will take place at a later date at the Bayfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack’s memory to CARMA, the L.A. Animal Shelter or a charity of one’s choice.
