Thomas H. O’Brien, of Bensalem, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. He was 79 years old. Tom, as he was known by his family and friends, was born in Philadelphia on April 28, 1946 to the late Francis and Dorothy (née Weller) O’Brien. He is survived by his wife, Marcia J. “Marcy” (née Petchon) O’Brien; sons, Matthew R. O’Brien (Taisia Perich), Andrew P. O’Brien; and grandsons, Luke O’Brien and Thomas O’Brien. He was predeceased by his sister, Joan Titus.
Tom attended Cardinal Dougherty High School, graduating in 1964. He then served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967 as a mechanic. Tom spent the majority of his professional career working as a signalman with Conrail Corp, retiring in 2011 after 25 years of employment. He enjoyed history, learning about his Irish heritage, word puzzles, family genealogy, Flyers hockey, and he really loved dogs.
