DESHANE, Mary "Dolly"  - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Dolly at Hospice Quinte on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, in her 65th year.  Loving daughter of the late Bernard and Laura Chamberlain.  Beloved wife of 48 years to Joseph Deshane.  Cherished mother to Joey Deshane, Adam Deshane, Holly Mamak and her husband Adam, and Dustyn Burshaw.  Devoted Gram to Laura, Layla, and Mya.  Fondly remembered by her siblings Bernice Mullet (David), Lois Preston (Larry), Betty Santos (Lionel), Pat Chamberlain (Diane), Della Bowers (Rick), Tim Chamberlain (Carol), Bill Chamberlain (Maria), Cecil Chamberlain (Penny), and her many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by Wallace Chamberlain (Sandra), and Debbie Robichaud (late Tom).

Dolly will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, her love for life, contagious spirit, and sense of humour.  Her kind and generous heart touched the lives of everyone who met her.  Dolly enjoyed coffee dates with her husband Joe, hugs and scratch tickets with her son Joey, car rides and late night visits with her son Adam, daily long phone calls and concerts with her daughter Holly, and going to the movies with Dustyn.  Dolly's love for thrifting and "The Sound of Music" has been passed onto her granddaughters.  Dolly was the glue, and heart and soul of the family.  While we mourn her passing, we take great comfort in knowing she is at peace with her heavenly family and Saviour.  She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.  

In honour of Dolly's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the Spring.  If desired, donations to Hospice Quinte  would be greatly appreciated by the family.
