John Phillip Hart died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He was 37.

A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, he was born January 23, 1988, the son of Tony Hart and Christina Cummings. He was a 2007 graduate of Warren Central High School. He had a dedicated career for 13 years laying fiber optic all over the United States. John enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, bringing people together, but above all he was a devoted father and son.

He is survived by his father, Tony Hart; mother, Christina Cummings; sister, Samantha Couey (Joshua); brother, Jimmie Hart; children: sons, Jesse and William; daughters, Khaisyn, Kenner, and Kaislee; nephews, Jaden and Jace; nieces, Kalea, Layla, and Siena.

He is preceded in death by his nephew, Johnathan.

Family and friends are invited to visitation after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Monsour & Patin Funeral Directors, 1830 Cherry Street, Vicksburg, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel, the Rev. Hunter Lynch, officiating.
