Lois Newsome Stollings, 76, of Chapmanville, WV, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born October 14, 1949, at Holden, WV, a daughter of the late Wilburn and Delphia Mounts Runyon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Grover, James, and Billy Runyon; one sister, Hattie Sturgill; one granddaughter, Allison Simpkins Varney; and one nephew, Billy Goff.

Lois was a woman of faith and always looked forward to going home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is loved by her family and all who knew her, and she will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Stollings; and her children, Camilla Hall of Dingess, WV, Cathy (James) Simpkins of Holden, WV, Carla (Ronald) Vinson of Dingess, WV, Lynn (Paul) Cook of Chapmanville, WV, Kay (Wade) Stollings of Chapmanville, WV, and Ricky (Angie) Stollings of Danville, WV. She was very blessed with 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by one brother, Curtis (Faye) Runyon of Delbarton, WV; and two sisters, Flo (Don) Goff of Lenore, WV, and Irene (Kendall) Mounts of Portsmouth, OH. Additionally, Lois leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews along with countless friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Runyon Family Cemetery at Delbarton, WV.
