Paul Alan Jager, 67, passed away November 12, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nancy Jager, and his brother, Jim. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kristen (Venema) Jager; their daughter, Brittany; their son, Ian; and many cousins.

Paul graduated from East Grand Rapid High School in 1976, and spent 20 years serving his country in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in the Philippines, England, and Germany, with stateside assignments in Florida, Michigan and upstate New York. He retired and returned to the Grand Rapids area. He began his career as an electrician while working at Amway, and achieved his Master Electricians license while working at G and D Electric in Greenville. He started Home Electrical Solutions and enjoyed working independently in the Greenville area for 17 years. He retired in 2023 due to health concerns.

Paul was devoted to his family and his dog, Auggie. He was known in the neighborhood for being talkative and helpful. He was a member of Greenville Community Church, where services will be held.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM at Greenville Community Church on November 24, 2025 with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Bread of Life Food Pantry located at Greenville Community Church.
