Luz S. Soto, 73, of Vineland, NJ, passed away suddenly on Wednesday November 12th at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden. She was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Angel Acevedo and Antonia Jimenez. She retired from JG Finneran.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, drawing, FaceTime conversations with out of state family members, brain teasers on her iPad, and her alone time. All who knew Lucy knew of her kind, loving spirit and a smile that would warm hearts.

She is predeceased by her husband Alfredo Soto, her parents Angel and Antonia Acevedo, her brothers Angel Manuel and Frederick Acevedo, and her sister Evelyn (Acevedo) Rivera.

She is survived by her children Angel Soto, Jorge Soto, and Glorimar Soto, daughter in law Aixa Soto, grandchildren Ayanna Diaz, Rafael Diaz III, Jonathan Hernandez, Julius Wilson, Yazalyn Diaz, and Le’Naya Diaz, her brother William Acevedo, her sisters Elizabeth and Ada Acevedo, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Dwelling place Church, 125 N. Second St. Millville, NJ 08332 on Wednesday November 19th at 11am. Burial will follow at Siloam cemetery in Vineland, NJ. To email condolences please visit www.pancoastfuneralhome.com
