David Anthony Shaw

January 28, 1953-November 12, 2025

It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of David Anthony Shaw on November 12, 2025 at home in Sackville, New Brunswick.

Born in Quebec on January 28, 1953, Dave was the son of John and Cecilia Shaw. 

Dave has left behind his brother, Kenneth John Shaw; his sister, Karen Cecilia Schnittker; nieces, Jenn Shaw, Madeline Schnittker; nephew, Bradley Shaw as well as many cousins across the country.

Dave was a retired mechanical engineer and small business operator.  He enjoyed living in Sackville and left behind many friends.

We think about you always,

We talk  about you still.

You will never be forgotten,

And, you never will.

We hold you close within our hearts,

And there you will remain.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved and missed beyond measure.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville NB (506)364-8188. In keeping with Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A small reception will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, 15 Lorne Street, Sackville, NB from 1-3pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.  All are invited to attend.

If so desired, memorial donations in memory of Dave may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26 or to the charity of one’s choice.
