Carol Natalie Hankin, age 85, of Potomac, MD, passed away November 12, 2025. Carol was the family matriarch, who cherished hosting and bringing the family together for holiday parties and was known for her sense of humor. Carol was predeceased by her husband, Norbert Hankin, and was a beloved family member to children, Elaina (Chris), Elissa (David), and April; stepchildren, Stephanie (Gene) and Samuel (Sharon); and adopted grandchildren, Tristan and Samantha. Carol is also survived by grandchildren: Jesse, Illyssa, Josh, Claire, Paulina, Amy (Jim), Joe (Jordan), Robin (Matt), and Adam. Also, Carol had nine great-grandchildren, a much-anticipated 10th great-grandchild, and two sisters-in-law, Beth and Beverly.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
