Christy Farrenkopf passed away suddenly at the age of 49 in Marstons Mills on Wednesday November 12th, 2025.

Born in Wareham Massachusetts on December 23rd, 1975, to her father George Baracos and mother Kallie Baracos. She graduated from Barnstable High School in 1993 and graduated with her associate’s in business administration from Cape Cod Community College in 2003. She worked as an administrative assistant at West Villages Elementary School and often spent time volunteering after school with Special Olympics. Christy loved spending her days at the beach, loved reading books, enjoyed music and concerts, and loved spending time with family and friends. Her infectious laugh and smile always lit up every room she entered. She will be deeply missed by everyone’s life she touched.

She was the wife of Brian Farrenkopf (52) for 23 years and they were together for 36 years. She leaves behind her two children Kelsey Farrenkopf (19) and Keegan Farrenkopf (20).

Visiting hours will be held at Chapman Funeral Home at 3778 Falmouth Road in Marstons Mills on Wednesday November 19th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday November 20th at 11 a.m. at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church at 1130 Falmouth Road in Centerville. Burial will be private.
