Jesus “Junni” Davila Bailey, III, 35, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He was born in Dover, Delaware, on April 9, 1990, to Jesus “Poncho” Davila, Jr. and Melanie Sue Bailey Prunty.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jesus Davila, Sr.

Jesus enjoyed race cars and was an avid Hot Wheels collector. He had a love for learning and enjoyed studying rocks and archeology. Jesse was a compassionate man who loved helping anyone. This was evidenced by the hours he volunteered at the MHC Warming Center, Salvation Army, and Virginia Harm Reduction Coalition. He attended The Community Fellowship Church where he found a loving faith community.

In addition to his father, Jesus Davila, Jr. (Christine) and mother, Melanie Prunty, Jesus is survived by his brothers, Dijon Ryheen Smith, Preston Lee Strand, Jr.; paternal grandmother Lydia Davila; aunt, Lydia Davila (Ray); uncles, Tony Davila (Dawn), Luis Davila (Debbie); cousins, Robin Andino, Rebecca Andino, and Jordan Davila.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Salvation Army located at 603 S. Memorial Boulevard, Martinsville, Virginia, with Pastor Michael Harrison officiating. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and concern that has been shown during this time of grief.
