Merry Jane Lindt, 88, of Marinette passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area. She was born on February 27, 1937, to the late Dr. James and Ruth (Stratton) Zeratsky in Marinette, and graduated from Marinette High School. She went on to further her education at Stephens College in Colombia, Missouri. While attending she had the honor of being elected The Beauty Queen of the college. Merry Jane married Stanley Lindt in Marinette. He preceded her in death in 1979. Merry Jane worked as a Librarian for the Stephenson Public Library, where her smile and kindness were always appreciated. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marinette. Merry Jane was a Green Blooded, Generational, Cheesehead Packer Backer. She will be missed by many relatives and friends.

Merry Jane is survived by her; daughter, Linda Lindt; son, Dr. John Lindt; grandsons, Benjamin (Vanessa) Lindt and Joshua Lindt; great grandson, Benjamin with one more on the way; brother, Jeff (Donna) Zeratsky along with further extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, Stan; she was preceded in death by brothers: Jimmy, Johnny, Joey, and Jeremy “Denny” Zeratsky.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
