Carmine D. Midolo Obituary

“Loving husband, father & brother”

Carmine D. Midolo, 78, of Middlebury, CT entered into the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the adoring husband of Kathleen A. (Piskura) Midolo for 46 years.

Carmine was born on October 24, 1947 in New Haven, CT, son of the late Salvatore and Angelina (Clemente) Midolo. He lived in several Connecticut towns throughout his life—including Danbury, Southbury, Litchfield, Newtown, and Prospect—before settling in Middlebury in 2016.

Carmine enjoyed a long and dedicated career with MetLife Insurance Company, serving as manager of the Torrington, CT office for over 30 years. Known for his leadership, integrity, and commitment to helping others, he built lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

After his retirement, Carmine became an active member of the Prospect Senior Center, where he spent many happy hours playing pool and cards with friends. He was also an avid and skilled golfer who loved spending time on the greens at Highland Greens Golf Course in Prospect.

Above all, Carmine cherished time with his family. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit left an enduring mark on all who knew him.

Besides his wife Kathleen, Carmine leaves to honor and cherish his memory his children Nicholas Midolo of Middlebury, CT and Melissa Midolo of Waterbury, CT and his sister Josephine Shabott of Hamden, CT.

Arrangements: All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury has been entrusted with Carmine’s services.
