St. Denis, Joanne Christina

March 28, 1962 – November 12, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joanne Christina St. Denis (née Currier), who passed away peacefully at The Ottawa Civic Hospital on November 12, 2025, at the age of 63.

Beloved wife of David St. Denis.

Treasured mother of Jennifer Currier (Stéphane Lebrun) and Amanda Currier (Hilton Bissonnette).

Cherished grandmother of Ashley Léger (Cale Beaulieu), Alysha Rivette (Mike Gilbert), Emily Lebrun, and Noah Lebrun, and proud great-grandmother of Elliote Gilbert and Oliver Gilbert.

Joanne will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, including Lisa Tyo and Ronnie Tyo, as well as by her brother Jerry Currier. She is predeceased by her brother Kenny Currier.

As per Joanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
