Norma Elaine Vickery Obituary

   

     Norma E. Vickery of Dover, DE, formerly of Denton and Federalsburg, MD, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Bay Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Dover, DE. She was 96 years old.

     Born in the Memorial Hospital in Easton, MD on November 5, 1929, Mrs. Vickery was the daughter of the late Clarence Melvin and Mildred Marie Wooters Melvin. Her husband, Lynn E. Vickery, died November 3, 1992.

     Mrs. Vickery attended Caroline High School in Denton and became a housewife. She also worked at Electrotherm in Denton, Saulsbury Brothers in Ridgely, and Cannon Foods in Bridgeville, DE. In the past, she had been active in the Senior Center in Denton and had been a person of great Christian faith.

     Mrs. Vickery is survived by a daughter, Linda Clendaniel (Joe) of Dover, DE; a son, Harry Kreigh, Jr. of Sacramento, CA; three grandchildren: Benjamin Clendaniel (Marni), Kristen Brittingham (Steve), and Kelli Nechay; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Jones.
