Demetria “Ann” Warner age 72 was born on August 30, 1953, to Vernita Lewis and Dewitt Warner in Oklahoma City, OK, but was a life-long member of the Eagletown community. She was a graduate of Eagletown High School and went to work for Pilgrim’s Pride, where she stayed for many, many years. After leaving Pilgrim’s, she was employed by Mays for 16+ years before retiring.
Ann accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She always had a smile on her face and was a friend to all who knew her. Everyone in the community knew “Miss Ann” and loved her for the kind words she spoke and bright spirit full of laughter she shared.
Her family was her everything. Her nieces and her nephews were more like her own children. Ann had a special relationship with all of her sisters, but Della was always near and dear to her. Peacemaker, Little Sister, Annie, by whichever name she was called, she was the glue to the Warner family.
Caring for her patients was her passion. Loving and inspirational was her nature. Cheering on the Thunder was her fire! Annie was an avid OKC Thunder fan!
She is preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Warner, her parents Vernita and Dewitt Warner, and one sister Elsie Mae Warner, and nephew, Brian Staggers, SR.
