Brian Charles Pittelkow Obituary

Brian…

A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Brian lived a life defined by joy, loyalty and an unwavering love for the people and passions that shaped him. A devoted Green Bay Packers fan and lifelong NASCAR enthusiast, he found happiness in the roar of an engine, the thrill of a race, and Sunday afternoons cheering on his team.

He was a true boater at heart, most at peace as the captain of Katie’s Kanoe, Carpe Diem, and Ripple - guiding family and friends across the waters he loved. Whether it was a quiet sunrise on the water or a day filled with laughter, making a wake from behind the wheel, he brought fun and adventure to every outing.

A loyal friend, Brian proudly kept his relationships that spanned more than five decades, from his Brookfield roots to his Regis Buds to life lived on Shady Knoll and everyone who was lucky enough to call him theirs. He was a compassionate soul, especially towards dogs and anyone in need. Brian carried a natural kindness that made people feel valued.

Of all his passions, nothing mattered more to him than his family. His brown-eyed girl, the love of his life, his wife of 35 years, Margaret. And his beautiful daughters, Kaitlin and Jeanette were his heart. Nothing made him prouder than coaching their teams, cheering from the sidelines, teaching them to drive, and showing them how to check their oil and change a tire. He loved being a dad so deeply that he gladly welcomed his son in law, Nick and “adopted” many of the girls’ friends and their cousins as his own.

Brian lived simply, loved deeply, and gave generously of his heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength. His absence leaves an ache that words cannot fill, but his love remains steady, gentle and everlasting in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.

In addition to his wife and daughters- Brian is survived by his father, Charles Pittelkow (Diane ✝️), his mother Sandra Malm and his sisters Sue Pittelkow, Linda Turk (Russ), and Diane Salazar (John).

The family asks in lieu of flowers to consider donating to your local Humane Society and/or to the American Cancer Society.
