There will be services on November 20th, 2025 at 11:00 am at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Arlene Sabo who passed away on November 12th, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am prior to the service.

She was born September 6th, 1934 in Eclectic, Alabama, the daughter of Harrison and Annie Izell Wall.

Arlene was a graduate of Elmore County High School in Eclectic. She married John “Tiny” Sabo on April 23, 1954 and moved with him to Youngstown.

Arlene is survived by her two children, John R. of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Laura (Jeff) Kriegel of Dublin, Ohio, four grandchildren, Hope (Tomy) Coman, Holly Sabo, Michelle Kriegel (Phillip Parli-Horne) and Stephanie (Joseph) DeCaprio and six great-grandchildren, Kayla Sabo, Emily and Dean Coman, Brandon Shaw, Wesley and Edith DeCaprio. She is survived by her former daughter-in-law Alberta (Frank) Fusselman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Gayle Sides, and brothers Ray, Jimmy, Jerry and James Earl Wall.

Interment will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
