Loretta Ann Diersing was born March 6, 1941, in Stow, Ohio. She was the daughter of Clifford Diersing and Betty (Johnson) Diersing. She lived a vibrant and joy-filled life attending Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.
Known for her spirited personality, she was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and never turned down an opportunity to dance, celebrate, and enjoy a cold beer. She adored Elvis Presley and could often be found listening to his music.
A talented baker and an enthusiastic tennis player, Loretta embraced life with energy and warmth. Above all, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world.
Loretta Ann Raymor, age 84 passed away peacefully on Wednesday; November 12, 2025, at Harborside Assisted Living in Luna Pier. Her passing was preceded by her parents: Clifford and Betty Diersing; and her beloved cousin: DonnaRae Watson-Gellar. Her sister: Connie (Ray) Bresciani passed away on November 13.
To cherish her memory, she leaves two children: Keith “KC” Raymor and Wendy Raymor (Kelly Stubleski) and her four grandchildren: Ashley Creager, Caleb Brian, Cody Brian, and Cassidy Bartalsky.
Friends may gather from 10:30am until 12:30pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Merkle Funeral Service, Erie; 9156 Summit Street, Erie, Michigan 48133 (734) 317-7199. A Celebration of Her Life will follow at Merkle’s at 12:30pm. Cremation has taken place at the on-site crematory, Covenant Cremation of Erie, Michigan, a division of Merkle Enterprises, Inc.
