Margaret E. Nazzaro, a former long-time Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY resident, entered into eternal rest on November 12, 2025 at home. She was 97 years old.

The daughter of the late Patrick McKinstry and Elizabeth (Bonner) McKinstry, Margaret was born on January 8, 1928 in Cornwall, NY.

Margaret was a retired Ex Minister Setter at Firth Carpet Company, as well as a Cafeteria Assistant for the Cornwall Central School District in Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. She was an active member of the St Thomas of Canterbury Church for her entire life.

Anyone who knew Margaret, also known as our beloved Maggie and Gannie; could honestly say they never left her presence feeling anything but happy, and like the most important person in the room. Her beautiful smile could lighten up your day, and her laugh was absolutely contagious. With a kind heart and a listening ear, she was always at the ready to give advice and with an open mind at that! We simply cannot put into words nor express the kind and beautiful person, that was our beloved Gannie, Mom, Maggie and Margaret was. She enjoyed the little things in life - a slice of pizza, an apple crumb donut from Dunkin, a sweet treat or a cup of tea. Time with her family was the thing she loved the most. She exemplified a life lived with love and laughter.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband: Angelo J. Nazzaro in 1968, her daughter: Kathleen Nazzaro; her son: Robert Nazzaro; and by her long-time companion: Norman Troy. She is survived by her daughter: Catherine A. Lewis and her husband Dave of Thompson Ridge, NY; by her grandchildren: David M. Lewis and his wife Elizabeth and Jackie D. Lewis and her wife Rose; and by her great grandchildren: Cassius, Matthew and Saphira.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 15th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. following the Visitation. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Thomas Cemetery in Cornwall, NY.
