Joseph Vincent Bentley, a 60-year resident of Winchester, passed away on November 12th following a brief illness. Born on May 6, 1938 in Everett, MA to Rose and Walter Bialkowski, he was predeceased by his sister Joan, and is survived by his sister Sophie. Devoted husband to his wife, Marcia, of 62 years, with whom he traveled the world and walked countless miles. Loving father to Chris and his wife Sarah Barth, David and his wife Jo, and Marielle Racicot and her husband Paul. Cherished grandfather to Ben, Sylvie, Will and Alden. Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
He was a licensed CPA who worked in public and corporate accounting, as well as a long-time Professor of Business at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. Veteran of the United States Air Force who served in France after the raising of the Berlin Wall. Winchester Town Meeting Member. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th at Saint Eulalia Church at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Winchester.
