Ricardo Sanchez

Saginaw, Michigan

Ricardo Sanchez, age 75 of Saginaw, passed away November 12, 2025, at Covenant Healthcare after a brief illness.

Ricardo was born on January 19, 1950, in Flint, Michigan. He was 1968 graduate of Saginaw High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. He received an Honorable Discharge from the Marines in 1975.

Ricardo married the former Clara M. Maraya on March 29, 1976, in the Philippines and she survives him.

Mr. Sanchez was employed by General Motors at the Fisher Body Plant in Lansing prior to his retirement in 2006. Ricardo loved having family reunions, collecting comic books, and watching his sons participate in Football, Basketball, and Baseball when they were growing up.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Clara, 2 dear sons, Chris and Jason Sanchez, many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20th at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.

Full Military Honors will be accorded for Mr. Sanchez
