Lois M. Holman-Kile, age 95 of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance, Ohio.   
  
She was born on February 26, 1930 to the late Walter and Marie (Bowman) Graf in Waterville, Ohio. Lois was a 1948 graduate of Defiance High School. On November 19, 1949 she married William Holman who preceded her in death on April 3, 1979. On September 28, 1985 she married Paul Kile who passed away on December 6, 1986. 
  
Lois was a faithful member of Ayersville United Methodist Church. She worked from 1968 to 1995 at Barney's Diner in Defiance, and then at Dee and Gee's in Ayersville. She loved her family, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and Cleveland Indians. 
  
Lois is survived by her children, Dr. Terry (Suzanne) Holman of Napoleon, Michael (Carla Hostettler) Holman, Sherri (Larry) Seevers, Patricia (Robert) Ayers, Melissa (Darin) Hussey, all of Defiance, and Michele Carnahan of Garrett, IN. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, her sister Norma Jean (Clarence) Meyer, son-in-law Larry Ayers, and several nieces and nephews.
  
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Ayers, brother Richard Graf, sisters, Thelma Oser, Marjorie Huffman, and Ruth Ann Johanns, and son-in-law Randy Carnahan.
  
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Dr. Terry Holman and Pastor Tim Tracy officiating. Lois will be laid to rest at Ayersville Cemetery at a later date.
