Carl Ray Farber, age 86 of White Hall passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Jerseyville Manor. He was born August 17, 1939 in Roodhouse, the son of Henry and Lura Hogge Farber. He married Janie Yvonne Roberts September 18, 1969 and she preceded him in death August 29, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings, Louise Strowmatt, Lois Walker, Lillian Matt, Lura Reno, and Glen Farber.

Carl served in the United States Navy from 1958-1960. He worked for ATT retiring in June of 1990. He loved hunting, traveling and fishing on the Illinois and Mississippi river.

Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2025 at White Hall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be suggested to Alzheimer’s Associations. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall is assisting the family. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com
