Marlene Kay Parker Obituary

Marlene Kay Parker 89 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away November 12, 2025 following a long illness.


Marlene was born October 30, 1936 at Hemlock, Ohio the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Sanders Essex. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Parker and a grandson Steven Parker.


She was a homemaker.


Survivors include two sons Rick (Laura) Parker and Rodney (Rita) Parker; two daughters Kimberly (John) O'Brien and Barbara (T.J.) Kelley; grandchildren Alicia Parker, Gerad Parker, Eric Parker, Megan Compton, Michael Parker, Connor O'Brien, Kaylee Dove-Green, Anniah O'Brien, Evan Kelley, and Kaylynn Kelley; 11 Great Grandchildren, and a nephew Brett (Melissa) Essex.


Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 15th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens Louisa, Kentucky. 


Friends may visit the family on Friday November 14th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
