Juanita Mae Meehan, born Juanita Mae Salinas, born in Wichita Falls Texas, passed away November 12, 2025. She was born on September 10, 1949, in Wichita Falls, TX to Don and Mildred Salinas. Juanita was welcomed into Heaven by her Husband George Meehan, her horse Lauralie and her 2 precious dogs Cosco and Pippy who preceded her in death.
The daughter of a loving family, Juanita moved to many places such as Texas, Virginia, California, Utah, and Washington State and Saudi Arabia in her youth and settled in Stephens City, VA After an adventurous life globe hopping Juanita settled down in Virginia with George where they embarked on a lifelong career in real estate. Her love for horses took her to places she could have only dreamed of. Juanita had a quiet temperament until you were able to really spend time with her and then her strong determination and will power shown through. She had a voracious thirst for knowledge and knew something about everything, especially how to make successful plans to create, build and conclude any project or task. She enjoyed Barbara Streisand and Neil Simon movies and watching these and spending time with her horses was one of her greatest joys
She leaves cherished memories to her beloved daughters Teresa with her children Kaia, TN. Tyler, Merlin, Mizzy, Alexis, Leila, Shangrila, Luna and Brighton and Margaret, has 9 children, Christopher, Stephanie, Danielle, Justin, Jason, Amanda, Joshua, Alexandra, Kailynn. She also leaves behind, siblings, Ernest Salinas, Rosemary Capetillo, Margaret Thome, Daniel Salinas and Don Salinas. She also had several nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and extended family and a host of friends who loved her greatly
