Anne Knuckley Holcombe, age 74, passed away on Wednesday November 12, 2025 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late David Knuckley and Hazel Greene Knuckley.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Eddie Holcombe.  

Ms. Holcombe will be remembered as a unselfish person who never met a stranger.  She loved her entire family dearly, especially her two grandchildren.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Joni Berry (Joe), and Elaine Holcombe, her grandchildren: Savannah Berry and Colton Wright, her sister and brother in laws as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.  

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 3: 00 p.m. on Monday November 17, 2025  at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Monday at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to The Gaston County Shrine Club.
