Mitchell Charles Mans, 97, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Shenandoah Senior Living in Front Royal.
He was born on November 7, 1928, in Indiana and was a son of the late Charles Mans and Ada Mitchell Mans.
Mitchell was a veteran of the United States Navy.
On April 15, 1949, he married Lena Lou Wilson Mans, who died on January 25, 2024.
Mitchell is survived by two daughters, Amanda Daley of Luray, and Susan Mans of North Carolina; a son, Steve Mans of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Mary Bittner of Florida, and Ava Mans of North Carolina; three grandsons, Mitchell Velich of Virginia, Kirk Mans of Maryland, and Michael Mans of North Carolina; and three great-grandchildren, Lily Bittner of Florida, Corina Skye of West Virginia, and one on-the-way. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Cresilus.
