Kerinchan "P.J." Babaoglu Obituary

Kerinchan “PJ” Babaoglu, 77, passed away on November 12, 2025, from heart failure, surrounded by his family by his side. PJ lived a full and remarkable life, spending many years in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, later residing in Monroe, New Jersey, and most recently residing in Middletown, New Jersey. He was born in Milan, Italy, and was formerly of Rochester, New York.


PJ was predeceased by his beloved wife, Connie A. Babaoglu. He is survived by his children, James and Dina Babaoglu, Kerim and Traci Babaoglu; as well as five grandchildren who brought him tremendous joy: Jacqueline, Audrey, Nicholas, Wylie, and Vincenzo.


A dedicated and accomplished scholar, PJ earned a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the University of Rochester. He built an impressive career, working for Kodak and later serving as Vice President of Operations and Engineering at Johnson & Johnson Clinical Diagnostics.


PJ lived his life with passion and curiosity. He loved golf, visiting national parks, traveling the world, reading, and discussing politics. Above all, he cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Annie.


He will be remembered for his intelligence, warmth, humor, and the deep love he had for his family.
