Mary Nailor Shadding, 79, of Wilson passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at her home. She was a waitress at Sambos for several years. Mary enjoyed traveling, cross stitching, puzzles and Pepsi. She loved cooking for her family and spending time with them. Mary will be deeply missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ruth Nailor; sisters, Sandra “Sandy” Miller, Mamie Taylor and Ruth “Jeanette” Potter.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Angela Haley (John); son, James Hillebert; grandchildren, Jonathan Haley (Trenton), Hannah Ziler (Joshua); great grandchildren, Johnathan Haley, Wesley Haley and Chloe Ziler; sisters, Brenda Thornhill and Evelyn Sheaffer.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Garner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with Pastor Floyd “Sonny” Griswold officiating. The burial will be held following the funeral service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
