Ralph Colley, age 64 of Council, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Born in Grundy, Virginia he was the son of the late James R. Colley and Gladys (Owens) Colley. He was a retired coal miner of 35 years and attended House of Worship Church in Honaker, Virginia.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, James Edward Colley, Cleveland Colley, Clayton Colley and Danny Ray Colley. Four sisters-in-law, Linda Sue Colley, Donna Colley, Linda Gay Colley and Anita Hope Wood, one nephew, Johnny William Cleveland Colley, father-in-law Acie Blankenship and mother-in-law, Jerlene Blankenship.

He is survived by his wife Glenda Jean Colley, daughter, Jessica (Jason) Ratliff, son Troy Colley, two step daughters, Tina (Rick) Stevens, Salena (Larry) Edwards, one step son, Daniel (Melanie) Colley, three step grandchildren, Levi (Madison) Colley, Brandon Hess and Tanner Hess, one step great grandchild, Garrett Colley and bonus grandkids, Alyson, Madison, Jackson, Grayson and Hudson who also called him Papaw Ralph, three brothers, Don (Alice) Colley, Keith (Bonita) Colley and Jeff (Trish) Colley, mother-in-law, Marty Richardson, Ocala, Florida, sister-in-law, Carol (Brian) Richardson, Ocala, Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Haysi Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Tiller and Clifford Breeding officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Colley Cemetery, Murphy Road, Vansant, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Jeff Colley, Daniel Colley, Rick Stevens, Brandon Hess, Tanner Hess, Levi Colley, Tim Colley, Jimmy Colley, Chris Colley, Andrew Colley, James Colley and David Colley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Avery Boyd, Patrick Combs, Delmar Owens, Jackson Colley, Grayson Colley, Hudson Colley and Garrett Colley.
